What is the future of work?

According to Gartner, “The future of work is hybrid. While organizations have been supporting remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic, application leaders responsible for the digital workplace are wondering if they are prepared to support the new needs of a hybrid workforce.”¹

In our conversations with customers, we’re hearing the same thing. Hybrid work is the way of the future.

This presents all business leaders with a question:

How do you prepare your business for a hybrid workplace?

To answer the question, let’s start by defining it:

A hybrid work environment is digital, it is using secured cloud technology, integrated systems and applications, and digital automated workflows for a flexible and seamless user experience; accessible from anywhere and anytime.

Streamlining how work gets done protects and accelerates critical processes and enables employees to deliver a superior customer experience from anywhere. In order to focus on growth, gain competitive advantage and successfully drive business forward, organizations must enable and support this digital workplace.

In a recent Gartner® report : "Quick Answer: 5 Things Digital Workplace Leaders Must Do to Support the Hybrid Workplace", Gartner made recommendations on how to support this digital, hybrid workplace.
