Our Culture and People

We look out for our customers and each other, too

As a key part of the RICOH Way, people are at the core of everything we do. That's why you won't just be a nameless face in the crowd here. You'll be a key part of the more than 21,000 diverse and dedicated team members we have across the country. Giving back

We won’t be satisfied until every aspect of our business reflects the rich diversity of the people and communities who touch Ricoh’s world. Nationally, we band together to support a variety of organizations through both our company and employee’s philanthropy, including:

  • United Way Annual campaign, fundraising and volunteer day

  • American Cancer Society Relay for Life

  • American Red Cross Ready 365 Giving Circle gold level partner

  • Natural disaster relief + support

  • Regeneron International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF)

  • RHealth for Heroes virtual walk/run to support U.S. Veterans

  • Ricoh Scholarships for children of employees

  • United Negro College Fund (UNCF) Scholarships

Local Diversity and Social Responsibility Councils across the country are focused on making an impact within their local communities. Each Ricoh office has the flexibility to support the causes that best resonate within their communities.

These can include national organizations like the ones mentioned above; separate school supply drives, holiday and other charitable activities; or other options — for example, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Caring, where some employees use his birthday as a day to give back to the community.

Recognition

Our people consistently go above and beyond, and we celebrate that in many ways, including:

  • Ricoh Recognizes, our national recognition program that acknowledges our employees' hard work and dedication, and their commitment to the values of the RICOH Way.

  • STAR (Services Team Annual Recognition) Program, a program that rewards top performing customer-facing professionals in the field with trips to destinations like Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

  • Chairman’s Club, in which top salespeople receive a trip to exotic places such as Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

When it comes to our company's senior leadership, the efforts of Ricoh employees are noticed and appreciated in other ways, too, especially at the local level. For example, management throughout the country routinely recognizes employees with breakfasts, lunchtime cookouts, bowling events, dinners with spouses and more.

Career potential

Collaboration

Your first job at Ricoh can lead to many others during your career with us. You could start off in one role and then grow into senior positions within that area. If a new challenge is what you’re looking for, you can expand your career path and move to other departments or even take on opportunities abroad.

To help you get where you want to go, we offer numerous training and development opportunities, including the Ricoh Learning Institute, RPath to Development and the Emerging Leader Program, which is open to employees with a minimum of one year of service and who wish to grow into a leadership role.
