Use the RICOH® MP C4504ex TE MFP for Education Color Laser Multifunction Printer (MFP) in shared use environments to add print, copy, scan and fax capabilities without additional stress. Produce up to 45 color pages per minute (ppm). Scan notes, tests and more and distribute them digitally with Scan-to-Email, FTP, PDF, URL and more.

Exchange ideas digitally

Feed documents into the 220-Sheet Single Pass Document Feeder (SPDF) and scan up to 180 full-color images per minute (ipm). Store them in the optional Blackboard® Learn, Canvas® learning management systems (LMS)* or other popular cloud applications. Use the RICOH Smart Device Connector app to access them instantly from your smartphone or tablet. With the same app, you can even send files to Ricoh projectors and interactive whiteboards for a larger display. Or, simply print files from your mobile device, including emails with image or PDF attachments.

Put security first

Keep information safe in communal areas. Secure your ID card reader and/or keyboard to the MFP with an optional mounting bracket. It protects cable connections and helps prevent authentication bypass attempts. Eliminate theft with built-in locks on the paper trays. Use a sealed bypass tray to prevent students and staff from creating paper jams via non-compatible paper stocks.

Stay on course with coursework

Churn through more jobs in high-traffic areas with ease. Use standard 2 GB RAM to process multiple jobs simultaneously without delays. Take advantage of PostScript® and PDF Direct Print emulation to output high-quality prints. Let staff store up to 3,000 forms and other academic documents on the embedded Document Server.

Work intelligently with the 10.1"-wide Smart Operation Panel (SOP). Download apps to automate everyday workflows. Tap into widgets to find information and change settings with touchscreen precision. Technicians can use SOP Designer tool to include your institution's logo, arrange icons, place custom wallpaper designs, add messages and more on the SOP Home Screen.

Produce professional-looking presentations in brilliant colors. The multifunction printer recalibrates continuously for more consistent output. Add the optional Fiery® E-23C Color Controller for superior spot-color reproductions. Choose from several automated finishing options to simplify paper stacking, stapling, booklet making and more. Opt for the optional Hybrid Stapleless + Stapler Finisher for staple-free or stapled document sets based on the size of the job.

Support a smarter way to work*

Minimize interruptions with enhanced support capabilities. With RemoteConnect Support, our experienced technicians can use screen-sharing technology for remote troubleshooting. Adjust system settings over the LAN with Remote Operation Panel and Ricoh Device Manager NX. Use Automatic Remote Firmware Update to expedite firmware and other upgrades for your fleet. End users can access a list of FAQs at the MFP with Web Help. They can also watch self-help videos using an app from our application site. *When enabled, internet connection required.

Be accountable for every user

Monitor users to help protect documents, devices and data. With User Authentication, users have to log in via passcodes or by swiping ID cards by an optional Near Field Communication (NFC) or HID card reader. Use it to track activity, restrict color printing, set print quotas and more. With Locked Print, only authorized users can release print jobs at the device. Add optional tracking software, such as PaperCut™ MF, Pharos® and Equitrac®, for chargebacks to faculty, departments and students.

The MP C4504ex TE offers a low Typical Electricity Consumption value of 1.8 kWh/week. Set duplex printing as a default, schedule automatic shutdowns during off-peak hours, and encourage responsible printing through the Eco-Friendly Widget to save even more.
