Scan up to 180 black-and-white or color originals per minute with the 220-sheet Single Pass Document Feeder (SPDF) and post them directly into your choice of cloud-based applications, including Blackboard® Learn, Canvas® or other learning management system (LMS)*. Students and instructors can access the files — and even add to them — from any web browser.

Be carefree yet careful
Reduce common risks in common areas. Use built-in locks on paper trays to prevent paper theft. Reduce paper jams caused by non-standard paper media with a sealed bypass tray. Choose the optional integrated bracket to mount an ID card reader and/or keyboard to the device and minimize tampering and unauthorized access to print controls.
Turn wireless into effortless
Instructors and students can use their smartphones and tablets to grab information from cloud-based applications or an LMS, and send it directly to the MFP for on-demand printing. The files remain in the queue until the authorized user releases them for printing. Use the Ricoh Smart Device Connector app and pair personal devices to the MFP instantly via Near Field Communications (NFC), QR code or Bluetooth (BLE).
Show off your best work
Choose from four optional finishers for stapling, hole punching and booklet making for up to 11" x 17" sizes. Add the 1,000-Sheet Hybrid Staple + Stapleless Finisher for automated staple-free finishing on documents with five or fewer pages. Professionally fold brochures, newsletters and other promotional materials with an in-line Internal Multi-fold Unit.
Track behaviors, assign costs
Hold users accountable with User Authentication. Use tracking software, such as PaperCut™ MF, Pharos® and Equitrac®, to capture data about print users and activity. Use optional accounting software to issue chargebacks and receive up-to-date billing reports automatically to simplify administrative tasks. Help keep device costs in check with embedded PostScript™ emulation.

Use our the 10.1" Smart Operation Panel to perform tasks in less time. Tap into easier navigation and set shortcuts, change settings and find information effortlessly. Customize automated workloads and minimize manual tasks by downloading apps from the RICOH Application Site, including helpful how-to videos.
Complete work on time
Minimize reloads and delays with a maximum paper capacity of 2,200 sheets. Use the Document Server to store up to 3,000 frequently used forms at the device. With optional Optical Character Recognition (OCR), you can use keywords to expedite searches for specific PDF files on the Document Server. Send digital files instantly via Scan-to-Email, FTP, PDF, URL and more.
Plan to save big
The MP 6055SP TE is ENERGY STAR® certified, meets EPEAT® Gold criteria and offers a low Typical Electricity Consumption value of 2.6.kWh/week. Reduce energy costs even more by scheduling the MFP to power off when the building is closed. Use the default duplex printing feature to curb paper costs.
