Take advantage of unique security features to help protect users, information and workflows in communal areas. Use an optional, integrated mounting bracket to secure your ID card reader and/or keyboard to the device. Help eliminate paper theft and control the types of paper used with built-in locks on the paper trays. And the bypass tray is sealed to prevent users from inserting non-compatible paper stocks that could cause paper jams.
Work quickly, be productive
The MP 4054SP TE recovers from sleep mode in only 4.9 seconds. Users can print documents at up to 40 pages per minute, and take advantage of a wide range of scan-to capabilities to share ideas instantly. Optional OCR scanning creates PDF files that can be accessed simply by searching for key words in the document. Plus, with a choice between 1,000-, 2,000- or 3,000-sheet finishers, the biggest and best ideas can be made larger than life.
Keep your head in the cloud
Make it easier for students and instructors to share information via email, optional learning management systems (LMSs) or other digital formats. They can take advantage of a 220-sheet document feeder to scan up to 180 images directly to their choice of cloud applications — including Blackboard® Learn* — so any authorized user can add to documents or access them from a web-enabled device.

Track everyone and everything
Freedom comes at a price. Take advantage of user authentication and optional tracking software to monitor who's using your MFP and who's going to pay for it. Run automated reports and assign chargebacks to faculty, departments and even directly to students with speed, ease and accuracy. You can even set print quotas for individuals or groups to curb excessive printing.
Print anywhere across campus
Students and professors can save time by printing at the MP 4054SP TE from their smartphone or tablet. They can grab and send files directly from your LMS, email or other application to the MFP, where they'll be given a security code to release the job when they arrive.
Tailor your choices
Create icon shortcuts on the smart operation panel so users can perform frequently used tasks with a single swipe or touch. They can also scan to or print from a USB drive to carry their work wherever you go.

Get sustainable, responsible printing. Schedule automatic shutdowns to conserve power when the device is idle. Set up default printing to reduce paper usage and costs.
