National competition prepares emerging talent through hands on sales experience
EXTON, PA, February 5, 2026 – Ricoh USA, Inc. today announced its role as the title sponsor of the 2026 Selling with the Bulls intercollegiate sales competition, hosted by the Muma College of Business at the University of South Florida (USF). The event, taking place February 19–20, brings together 168 students from 38 universities across 25 states for what organizers call “the toughest test in sales education.”
The two‑day competition challenges students in four core areas of modern selling—networking, prospecting, discovery, and sales meetings—while giving them the opportunity to engage with leading employers, faculty experts, and sales practitioners.
Showcasing the Next Generation of Sales Talent
Ricoh’s sponsorship reinforces the company’s commitment to developing the next generation of technology sales leaders and strengthening the talent pipeline for both Ricoh and its Dealer partners.
“Programs like Selling with the Bulls offer students real‑world, career‑shaping experiences,” said Jim Coriddi, Chief Dealer Officer, Ricoh USA, Inc. “We’re proud to help equip future sales professionals with the skills, confidence, and mindset they’ll need to thrive in a rapidly transforming industry.”
Throughout the competition, students will focus on selling Ricoh’s next‑generation SD Series of A3 Color Laser Multifunction Printers, which brings advanced document‑management capabilities with an industry-first straight path single-pass document feeder and integrated digital workflow tools into a single platform. By centering their role‑plays, prospecting exercises, and sales meetings around Ricoh solutions, participants gain hands‑on experience articulating the real business value of modern digitization and workflow automation.
This structure reinforces the competition’s emphasis on consultative selling, business acumen, and solution‑based conversations that mirror real‑world customer engagements.
Driving Community, Connectivity, and Industry Engagement
Ricoh is collaborating closely with USF business faculty and Ricoh Dealer partners to elevate the competition experience and ensure students receive meaningful exposure to professionals who understand both modern selling and the evolving demands of workplace technology. This level of engagement creates a community where students, educators, and industry leaders can learn from one another and advance the future of the sales profession.
“Involving Ricoh and its Dealer community adds tangible value to Selling with the Bulls,” said Robert Hammond, Director of the Center for Marketing and Sales Innovation at the USF Muma College of Business. “Their commitment to cultivating emerging talent and pushing innovation forward creates an environment where students can apply what they learn in a way that mirrors real‑world expectations.”
