Ricoh and Cintoo announce strategic collaboration to integrate native 360° capture into industrial 3D workflows
Mar 10, 2026
TOKYO and MIAMI, March 10, 2026 – RICOH360 today announced a strategic collaboration with Cintoo to support the launch of Cintoo’s 360 Edition, a new solution that enables Ricoh-native 360° video data to be captured, aligned, and navigated directly within enterprise-grade 3D environments.
Cintoo’s 360 Edition integrates 360° video walkthroughs with 3D scan data and BIM/CAD models in a single synchronized workspace. For industrial asset owners and operators managing complex or brownfield sites, the solution removes the need for split-screen visualization and manual processing, accelerating field-to-cloud workflows and improving access to up-to-date spatial information.
“By bringing RICOH 360° data, scan data and design models together in one integrated 3D environment, we’re enabling broader teams to adopt advanced 3D workflows without added complexity,” said Dominique Pouliquen, CEO of Cintoo.
The collaboration combines Cintoo’s advanced 3D visualization platform with RICOH THETA’s high-resolution, field-ready 360° capture technology. Compact, adaptable to confined or hard-to-access environments, and designed for operational use, THETA cameras enable rapid and frequent documentation of industrial sites without compromising image quality.
From capture device to digital infrastructure
Ricoh’s contribution to Cintoo’s 360 Edition extends far beyond hardware.
RICOH360 brings more than high-performance cameras to Cintoo’s 360 Edition — it delivers the technology layer that connects field capture to enterprise digital workflows.
Through its cloud-connected imaging ecosystem and synchronization technologies, RICOH360 provides the middleware that transforms simple 360° capture into structured, interoperable digital assets ready for integration into digital twin platforms. This automated field-to-cloud pipeline ensures that captured data becomes an operational component of enterprise systems rather than standalone visual content.
By combining intuitive capture, automated data structuring and seamless interoperability, the RICOH360 and Cintoo collaboration enables more frequent site documentation, improved asset verification, and scalable digital twin deployment across multi-site industrial environments.
“We are pleased to collaborate with Cintoo to deliver ‘360 Edition’,” said Akio Inaba, President of RICOH Futures EMEA and Head of Smart Vision Business Center at Ricoh. “By continuously converting real-world site data into accurate, actionable digital assets, this solution goes beyond visualization to support operational decision-making, workflow optimization, and long-term knowledge accumulation. For Ricoh, ‘360 Edition’ represents a strategic initiative to embed 360 data into customers’ core operational workflows and accelerate digital transformation across construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure industries.”
