TOKYO, March 15, 2024 – Ricoh today announced it has been selected as one of the Supplier Engagement Leaders for disclosing actionable, high quality environmental data, the highest score based on the Supplier Engagement Rating (SER) by CDP, a non-profit organization that runs the leading global disclosure system for environmental impacts. This marks the fourth consecutive selection for Ricoh.

In SER, CDP evaluates organizations in four key areas of the CDP climate change questionnaire related to governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions accounting and supplier engagement, in addition to factoring in the overall CDP climate change performance, and rates them on an eight-point scale of A to D-. Approximately 450 companies were recognized as Supplier Engagement Leaders in 2023.

The latest rating is a recognition of Ricoh’s environmental goals and initiatives. With climate change being one of the most critical social issues the international community faces, Ricoh will continue to actively promote energy-saving activities and renewable energy use within its own operations. Through collaboration with business partners and customers, Ricoh will strive to contribute to the creation of a zero-carbon society throughout the entire value chain.
