The Energy Saver Timer and Sleep Mode functions further reduce energy consumption, and automatic duplexing helps reduce paper consumption. Take control with integrated scalable administrative controls. Save time using the WebSmartDeviceMonitor from any web browser to configure and diagnose network devices remotely. Our easy-to-use @Remote software automates service calls and simplifies the collection of critical device data. Plus, administrators can receive email alerts to ensure that devices are replenished with supplies promptly, minimizing your downtime.

Store, print and save

Achieve a new level of productivity with the Document Server function by storing frequently used documents - such as forms and letterhead - directly onto the hard drive for simple access and ease of distribution. And with print-on-demand, you can reduce the expense and hassle of producing and storing outdated, pre-printed documents.

Help safeguard what's essential

Hard Disk Drive encryption helps keep your stored documents safe. Encrypted PDF transmission scrambles document data in use, and after each job the DataOverwriteSecurity System automatically overwrites any files left on the hard drive. Other security features include user authentication to access files, and the ability to add watermarks to confidential documents. Plus, the Locked Print and Hold Print features can place critical documents into a print queue until they are authorized for release, so they won't get left in the output tray.
