Ricoh aficio sp 4410 sf won’t print error message: load with custom paper and replace pc kit. How do I fix?

BEST ANSWER: Hello,

The load custom paper message is appearing because this is what the job from the pc has requested. What is being requested differs from what the machine is programmed for (in terms of paper size and/or paper type). This could be a setting within either the application (ex. Word, Adobe) or within the printer driver. Making certain that the application, the driver and the machine match relative to settings will allow the job to successfully print. The following link is to the online user guide which helpfully complements the explanation above. See page 253

the printer is printing with lines and poor copy quality...what can we do to fix it so the quality of the print is clear?

It sounds like 1) you are running low on toner or 2) you may need a technician to come and take a look at your printer.
