How do you clear the journal on this machine?

The design of our machines is for the Journal to automatically clear its content after 50 transactions (sends and receives). The only way for it to be cleared manually would involve a service call where a technician performs a clear of the fax unit's progamming.

How do you print Quick Dial, Speed Dial, and Group Dial lists? The manual says to see page 54 Printing Reports/Lists, but this section of advanced features does not exist in manual H5558200A.

how do you print a journal?

BEST ANSWER: When automatic communication report printing is turned on, the Journal is printed automatically after every 50 communications (including both receptions and transmissions).

You can also print a copy of the Journal at any time by following this procedure:

1. Make sure that the device is in Facsimile mode and the standby display is shown.
2. Press the [Job Information] key.
3. Press the arrow keys until 6. Print Journal is displayed.
4. Press the [OK] key.
5. Press the [Start] key.

The report is printed and the device returns to the standby display.
