End users from different departments or different states have the ability to scan necessary documents into the AP workflow for routing, approval, and payment. Static and custom workflows are available at the panel of the Ricoh multifunctional devices in each department for ease of use and access. Scanned documents are routed through capture software and into the customer’s system.
  • Technology. Scalable solutions include sophisticated scanning and indexing solutions for quickly digitizing incoming invoices and extracting important information. Ricoh implements technologies such as GlobalScan™ NX, Nsi Autostore® and eCopy® to work together to deliver relevant, process-ready information to the AP department. Data extraction technologies identify selected information on invoices such as name, dates, PO numbers and monetary amounts. It then indexes and validates the data in preparation for distribution to core business systems or archival systems.
