Will the memory erase when I turn the fax machine off? I am looking for a fax that will not retain memory after the fax is sent.

BEST ANSWER: If the machine is simply turned off the memory wil continue to work, If the machine is unplugged for a long duration, the memory will be lost
how do you print a journal?

BEST ANSWER: When automatic communication report printing is turned on, the Journal is printed automatically after every 50 communications (including both receptions and transmissions).

You can also print a copy of the Journal at any time by following this procedure:

1. Make sure that the device is in Facsimile mode and the standby display is shown.
2. Press the [Job Information] key.
3. Press the arrow keys until 6. Print Journal is displayed.
4. Press the [OK] key.
5. Press the [Start] key.

The report is printed and the device returns to the standby display.
