The versatile SP 8200DN MICR is a dedicated MICR laser printer that comes network-ready and combines speed and high quality black-and-white output for greater productivity. It offers a host of advanced capabilities with the optional hard disk drive to manage today’s demanding workloads with ease. Ideal for cost-conscious users in mid-volume printing environments, the Ricoh Aficio SP 8200DN MICR offers standard duplexing, an expandable paper capacity, and a choice of professional finishing options. MICR or Magnetic Ink Character Recognition is a technology adopted mainly by the Financial & Insurance industries to facilitate the processing of cheques and other security-type of documents such as: Money Orders, Bank Drafts, Deposit Slips, POS Contingency Vouchers, Settlement Vouchers, Inter-member Debit Vouchers, and Image Replacement Documents (IRDs).

  • Two standard 550-Sheet Paper Trays and the standard 100-Sheet Bypass Tray (which also accepts envelopes) for a total paper capacity of 1,200 sheets.
  • Two extra 550-Sheet Paper Trays or a 2,000-Sheet Large Capacity Tray (LCT).
  • 1,200-Sheet Large Capacity Tray also available (For a total paper capacity of 4,400 sheets)
  • 1,000-Sheet Finisher or 3,000-Sheet Finisher available for sorting, stapling and hole-punching.
  • With the IPDS option, print directly from IPDS databases without a print server or other hardware
  • HDD encryption option makes data stored on the Ricoh SP 8200DN MICR's Hard Disk Drive impossible to decipher
  • Web Image Monitor™ utility shows detailed printer information, network settings, machine usage information and supply status through an intuitive Web interface
