VCSEL Technology

Advancing the MP C6502/MP C8002 to best-in-class status is Ricoh's revolutionary VCSEL laser beam technology.

VCSEL enables the system to produce 1200 x 4800 dpi image resolution with precise registration by emitting 40 laser beams simultaneously to adjust for sheet expansion and contraction. This process minimizes color shift, resulting in highly detailed image reproduction and accurate registration, front to back.

1200 x 4800 dpi Resolution

Detailed, accurate image reproduction that stands above the rest.

Graphic arts and design departments are impressed with the MFP's true 1200 x 4800 dpi print resolution. Combine remarkable and detailed image reproduction with robust media handling and finishing options and you have a powerhouse for producing exceptional, professional looking jobs all in-house — brochures, presentations, business cards, booklets, direct mail, manuals and more!

Toner Technology

These superior color MFPs use proprietary PxP®-EQ Toner, which accurately reproduces an expanded range of colors.

The toner spreads evenly, improving color density and saturation to deliver brilliant quality color while using a minimal amount of toner. Another benefit of PxP-EQ Toner is its lower melting point - less energy is used in the process, resulting in a reduction in operating costs.

Solid Coverage

Output professional, production-quality documents with high-color ratios and image-centric graphics.

These high-quality systems include several production-level technologies that provide countermeasures against banding and shock jitter to produce solid, even coverage that results in high-end color reproduction. Colors stay vibrant and consistent from the first page to the last, which makes this high-volume system a go-to solution for marketing departments, educational institutions, graphic firms and central reproduction departments.

Precise Color Controls

Enjoy greater control over color balance, adjustment, and simulation to meet unique color preferences.

With easy-to-use sliders, users can adjust and fine-tune the values of individual colors for levels of brightness, contrast, color saturation and RGB color balance to match specific workflow and design requirements.

Settings can be registered as one-click icons on the printer driver, allowing departments to create presets that define profiles for corporate and client color identities and other types of frequently produced jobs.
