West Caldwell, NJ, February 6, 2008 - Ricoh Americas Corporation, a leading provider of digital office equipment, today announced that Fabsoft’s Modular Object Scanning Technology 2.0, (MOST 2.0), a plug-in for FabSoft’s core product, Reform has passed Ricoh’s compatibility testing process. Each Developer within the Ricoh Developer Program must submit their solution for compatibility testing prior to offering their solution to the market. This thorough testing procedure ensures that solutions offered by Premier Plus Members within the Ricoh Program work effectively and properly on Ricoh devices.
Exclusive to Ricoh multifunctional products (MFPs), Fabsoft’s advanced scanning solution is built on a customizable framework that enables users to tailor the solution to meet their respective document workflow needs. One of the most significant features of FabSoft’s MOST 2.0 is the ability to offer end users proximity swipe card access that presents an account monitoring advantage. In addition, security is greatly enhanced by authenticating the user at the MFP and releasing / printing only the documents they are authorized to view.
