Mailing solution recognized by readers for creating a strong business impact and excitement in the industry

Malvern, PA, July 1, 2013 - Ricoh Americas Corporation today announced that its ADF Essentials solution received a Top Product award in the inaugural Quick Printing 2013 Readers’ Choice Top Products Awards. ADF Essentials was chosen by readers as the best product – having the strongest impact on businesses or creating the most excitement – in the Mailing Software Category.

Part of the RICOH ProcessDirector portfolio, ADF Essentials enables mailers to streamline print operations and maintain highly integrated environments while implementing automated postal processing with postal mail optimization and workflow features that help customers cost-effectively manage their mailrooms. The solution ultimately helps customers lower postal costs, manage complex workflows, comply with USPS regulations, and reduce cycle time and increase control.

“It’s an honor to be recognized with an award that reflects the very positive opinions of our customers,” said Tim Vellek, Vice President, Production Printing Business Group, Ricoh Americas Corporation. “We created ADF Essentials to provide mailers with a complete end-to-end solution that addresses specific mailroom needs, and receiving this Quick Printing Readers’ Choice Top Product Award proves to us that our customers are realizing the success that Ricoh promises to help them achieve – beyond print.”

Quick Printing conducted its competition in early 2013, gathering opinions from members of the printing industry on what they thought were the most significant commercial printing products introduced between the period of September 1, 2011 and December 31, 2012.

The awards covered 21 categories, including Color Digital Devices, Offset Presses, Production Inkjet Presses, and VDP Software. Results including all categories and winners are available in the May 2013 issue of Quick Printing.
