RICOH’S DOCUMENTMALLTM RECEIVES EMC DESIGNED FOR DOCUMENTUM ACCREDITATION

Ricoh Joins EMC Application Logo Program

CHICAGO,   May 10, 2005 — Ricoh Corporation, the leading provider of digital office equipment, announced at a press conference today that its DocumentMallTM on-demand document management and collaboration software service has received the EMC Designed for Documentum logo designation, a mark of quality and value that customers insist on in enterprise applications. EMC Corporation is the world leader in information storage and management. The EMC Designed for Documentum accreditation can be earned by organizations in the EMC Documentum Application Logo Program that meet stringent application design and development standards for offerings developed on the EMC Documentum Enterprise Content Management platform.

As a member of the EMC Application Logo Program, Ricoh received specialized design consultation and guidance, along with access to dedicated EMC content management technical resources. Ricoh will also be able to include specialized “Designed for Documentum” logos on packaging, marketing collateral, and other promotional materials pertaining to their accredited offering, signifying to customers that DocumentMall meets high standards for architectural compliance with the Documentum architecture and leverages development best practices.

Ricoh’s DocumentMall provides businesses with a powerful option for managing and sharing documents inside and outside the corporate firewall. This on demand document management solution offers powerful workgroup collaboration benefits to departments within large corporations as well as small to medium businesses. Through a user-friendly interface and secure transmission, the DocumentMall web-based solution allows corporations to store, manage and share files through the Internet anytime, anywhere. Additionally, it is the only solution available that directly and securely integrates with Ricoh’s family of MFPs and internet faxes.

As the only on-demand document management solution developed on the EMC Documentum Enterprise Content Management platform, DocumentMall provides an immediately deployable solution with no hardware to buy and no software to install.
